Give love to your largest weight bearing joint - the gateway between the upper and lower body - your hips! We naturally sink a lot of weight and stress into the hips resulting in layers of physical and emotional tension becoming trapped and so often forget to give them some extra love. A moderately paced flow class we ease into gentle hip openers and build into stronger standing poses that build strength in and around the hips before sinking back into juicy stretches and finishing with a long and sweet shavasana. Pop on your favourite track from the 60's or maybe some Tragically Hip (you know we will be!).
Thank you for booking with us! Please try to arrive: 5 minutes prior to session (online) 10-15 minutes prior to session (studio) Each session will vary however we suggest having the following props (in addition to your mat): (if you don't have props - don't worry! There are suggestions in the brackets) 2 Yoga Blocks (equal sized - thick - books) Bolster (firm rectangular|cylindrical pillow or cushion - think rolled sleeping bag) Firm blanket Yoga Strap (long scarf|belt) Optional: Water Journal/Pen (for your throughts after) Any items/relics (crystals, cards, intention candle - don't put it where you'll knock it) Eye pillow Dress comfortably / layers - no special clothing is needed! Cancellations for sessions must be made at least 3 hours prior to start time through Wix Fit App. Ongoing no shows may be charged a single class session fee.
