Whether you are an absolute beginner or have dabbled at home watching videos online. Perhaps you are unsure of how to modify poses to work for your body or want some foundational knowledge before you start studio classes. Perhaps you find group classes intimidating. Maybe you think yoga isn't for you because of how you look. Maybe you just want to meet new people! If any of these sound like you - this is the series for you! Come and learn about yoga in a supportive, body positive environment and see why so many love this practice and experience the many benefits a regular practice offers. Over the course of 8 weeks you will learn: * Foundational yoga poses (seated, standing/balancing, supine) * Alignment details and benefits to why we practice each pose * Variations using props to support your practice * Introduction to the science and art of breath work and linking movement to breath * Basic meditation techniques Each week we will learn new poses and move through a sequence that increase in length and challenge as the weeks go on! Session begins Thursday October 12 and runs each week until Thursday December 7 from 6:30-7:30pm. There is no class on Thursday November 9.
Thank you for booking with us! Please try to arrive: 5 minutes prior to session (online) 10-15 minutes prior to session (studio) Dress comfortably / layers - no special clothing is needed! Cancellations for sessions must be made at least 3 hours prior to start time through Wix Fit App. Ongoing no shows may be charged a single class session fee.
