We begin with a slow and steady Hatha flow with a focus on developing structure and alignment in each pose. Postures are linked in a sequence of movements that “flow” with the breath. Variations on the Sun Salutation are often used as a warm-up followed by a standing sequence, balancing poses and then seated poses. Please try to arrive: 5 minutes prior to session (online) 10-15 minutes prior to session (studio) Each session will vary however we suggest having the following props (in addition to your mat): (if you don't have props - don't worry! There are suggestions in the brackets) 2 Yoga Blocks (equal sized - thick - books) Bolster (firm rectangular|cylindrical pillow or cushion - think rolled sleeping bag) Firm blanket Yoga Strap (long scarf|belt) Optional: Water Journal/Pen (for your throughts after) Any items/relics (crystals, cards, intention candle - don't put it where you'll knock it) Eye pillow Dress comfortably / layers - no special clothing is needed! Cancellations for sessions must be made at least 3 hours prior to start time through Wix Fit App. Ongoing no shows may be charged a single class session fee.
