Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep is the practise and art of a state between sleep and wakefulness. In this class you will be guided through a detailed sleep meditation that will allow your mind and body to slip into a deep state of relaxation. The brain will switch from beta to alpha waves, signalling the transition from activity to meditation. Receive deep rest and restoration in this extremely healing practice that is done entirely lying down. Thank you for booking with us! Please try to arrive: 5 minutes prior to session (online) 10-15 minutes prior to session (studio) Each session will vary however we suggest having the following props (in addition to your mat): (if you don't have props - don't worry! There are suggestions in the brackets) 2 Yoga Blocks (equal sized - thick - books) Bolster (firm rectangular|cylindrical pillow or cushion - think rolled sleeping bag) Firm blanket Yoga Strap (long scarf|belt) Optional: Water Journal/Pen (for your throughts after) Any items/relics (crystals, cards, intention candle - don't put it where you'll knock it) Eye pillow Dress comfortably / layers - no special clothing is needed! Cancellations for sessions must be made at least 3 hours prior to start time through Wix Fit App. Ongoing no shows may be charged a single class session fee.
